    Westland Whirlwind Mk1 fighter revisited.

    Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of recreating the Whirlwind for the FSX/P3D sims
and a lot of my research has directed me to this forum as much has been written here already, and it has all been useful, but I note that Stuart aka. "MrBlueSky" illustrates his post on the Exactor controls
    ( https://forum.keypublishing.com/show...actor-Controls)
with a section from a photo (one of the original cockpit photos before it was artistically altered for the pilots notes ?) that would be extremely useful in getting those little details right.
I have tried contacting Stuart, but to no avail and I have been unable to source this in its complete form anywhere else ..... does any one else have this set ?

    Cheers

As an FYI, WarThunder has the Whirlwind, and a "Builders Program" for people to create models for players to use.

At the very least you can create new skins for players to use.

Aye, but I can't use someone else's model as a reference … it is only their interpretation of the aircraft and might not be that accurate.
    Thanks

Still no luck with those elusive cockpit photos, so I wonder if anyone could help with this trim indicator.
The wheel looks identical to the Lysanders, but not the indicator.
Anyone able to fathom out how the Whirlwinds is rigged ? or recognise it as being used on other aircraft ?

The Whirlwind Project Facebook page was active in June.

Yes the facebook site is still active (well sort of , last info was April) but the website …. the one with all the info and tech stuff became time expired and has gone.
I did contact Chris Hayward back in May and he said they hoped to get it back soon.
