Broussard over Little Chalfont (Bucks) heading west just now. Looked dark in colour, so not the usual G-HOUR perhaps.

Had a nice afternoon down in Arundel, mostly in the back garden of the Kings Arms. Goodwood Spitfires were very much in evidence with a number of flypasts; at one point they joined up for a formation overflight in the town vicinity. Also, Jungmann, Pitts, L-21 Cub and something I think was a modern-build Taylorcraft. Also three Extra 300s doing a tail chase in the area!

Which Spitfire did I spot parked up at Sutton Scotney this morning? It had yellow leading edges if people need a clue.

There's been a very nice looking Floatplane waltzing around this area (Hawarden ) for a month or 3 now. It seems to be a high wing single radial engined effort with no landing wheels for airfield use. BUT I never have had my camera ready or binocs. It flew over house twice in a ,week lovely sound. Its not a Beaver or Otter and appears to be brown in colour. Hoping I'll see it again soon and get pics.

Bill, this Aviat Husky is apparently based at Harwarden; possibly the one?

Looks like a Swiss painted DC-3 N431HM is heading into Biggin Hill...

Blimey, it's like Apocalypse Now around here, outside attending to some woodwork and just had an Agusta 109, Squirrel and Dauphin blatt over in quick succession. I love the smell of varnish in the morning...

Heard a distinctly radial growl over East Reading half an hour ago, looked out of the window to see a civil-schemed DHC Beaver headed SW - anyone know which?

A Strikemaster and a JP were orbiting over Chesham at 17.50, seemed to head off in a southerly direction.

Good to see a Tiger Moth gently puttering around South Croydon area a couple of times this afternoon. I think it'll be the joy riding concern from Redhill - normally in great evidence as soon as the days warm up.

Putting up a fence today and I could hear a distant growl, a few seconds later a Catalina flew straight overhead! Followed a few minutes later by a P51 and lastly, a half hour later a camouflaged JP (I presume a strikemaster) One of the good things about living so close to Staverton ☺

Spitfire with D-day stripes heading south over Wrexham yesterday afternoon. Can anyone advise which one and where it was going from/to?
    Thanks.

According to BBMF on Twitter a Spitfire was due to fly to Harwarden and back via a number of locations for flypasts. On the way back was due to flypast at Welshpool and Oakengates amongst others. Assume this might have flown near Wrexham ? No mention of which Spit though. Suppose it would narrow it down if it was a Mellow Merlin or a Growling Griffon ?

Had the BBMF Lancaster fly over the house. My Aunt says she saw it the other day so not sure if it overnighted at Northolt.

Everyone and their Granny were up doing aerial survey work over central Scotland today, but alas nothing historic to report here.

Also funny to see a very very low Canberra and Harrier following her... although they were limited to a cockpit down the A605 on the back of a truck. From Newark I'd assume

The Staverton spots were probably related to the Seaside show at Weston S Mare this weekend.

As to the Cub over Thame, if it was yellow, that was probably me outbound 11.10 ans return 16.40. There was a gaggle of us all buzzing off from Bicester including the Dragonfly, Chipmunk, Super Cub, SE5 Replica, Civilian Coupe, Rearwin, Tripacer and two Harvards, all heading past Waddesden and then Thame area.

The only Harriers out of Cockpit-Fest were a local Lincolnshire based cockpit & one heading north to the Sheffield area - the Canberra convoy that left Newark heading south comprised of said Canberra, Hunter & Scimitar!

Addendum - the Lincolnshire Harrier left on Saturday night!!
