    RAFM Hendon ~ 09Dec17

As this was my last visit of the year, I decided to linger a bit longer rather than the usual go in get some record shots of any changes and out again. I also wanted to see how my new shoot in the dark lens handled the rubbish lighting at the museum. In the order taken.

Looks like the lens worked fine apart from pic #7...

Under my gruff exterior lies an even gruffer interior...

Good to see the Mk V Tempest on the ground again - but that port u/c looks a bit dodgy

Good to see a update, may go up just after Christmas. Surprised they didn't put the DH9A in the GW hangar? When is the work scheduled to finish? Anybody know what the final aircraft composition will be in the former Milestones and BofB halls? How long are aircraft going to remain at Hendon in a dismantled state?

Looks like that new lens is working OK! the RAFM will have to turn the lights down even more! Thanks for all your photos this year Brian, first year I haven't been to Duxford for about 30 years.

    A nice set of photos.
You have given me the inspiration to visit, I think I had been put off a visit assuming the place was restricted temporarily due to the change around.
It's worth a visit while the Tempest is on the ground!
