Once were warriors - RAN FAA helicopter retirements

Last few weeks ive been travelling around eastern NSW, Australia getting stories to make into this report on the retirement of the Royal Australian Navys S-70B-2 Seahawk and AS350BA Squirrels.
Many have made it into miliary preservation so far with potential scope for more maybe to go to civil museums. See the news at https://downunderaviationnews.wordpr...ctive-service/

The retirement of S-70 Blackhawk/Seahawk variants is another opportunity for the older among us to say...Retired already? I remember when they were new....
There are two sides to every story. The truth is usually somewhere between the two.
