According to Baugher's listings, at one time the airframe was going to the Evergreen Museum.

The F-89 Scorpion from the same source ended up in the Heritage Flight Museum in Burlington, Washington. After decades as a training airframe and a few years outdoors after it was no longer needed, the airframe was in very good shape with factory inspection stamps still legible.

There are two sides to every story. The truth is usually somewhere between the two.

We visited Castle a few weeks ago. The engines and radome were all that were there at that point so it is nice to hear that the move is now complete. Thanks for posting the links!
