    Not only is the Yukon huge, aeroplanes are small.
    Gann very effectively described the difficulty of searches in a chapter of Fate is the Hunter.

    Even today with radar tracking and ELTs, aeroplanes disappear in the vast North American wilderness.
    There are two sides to every story. The truth is usually somewhere between the two.
