She had engine failure and had to force land at Flying Legends and is in america for repairs! Id heard she wont be coming back at Miss Velma though? Does anyone know if this is true?
If it is id like true id like to see a 357th FG or 352nd Blue nose scheme!

There was a competition from the owners facebook page as to a change of markings. Never saw a result posted, iirc the winner was supposed to be getting a ride.

    Duxford Sunday 3rd December:

Nothing much to report today, only another update on the gateguard Hurricane repaint. It seems it will represent Bader's 242 Sqn Hurricane, Duxford based in 1940:

Tiger Moth G-AHIZ ( from the Cambridge Flying Group ) called in this morning:

TFC Sea Fury WG655 was brought out at lunchtime, but we will have to wait a while to hear what the R2800 sounds like:

Saw a video on favebook earlier that showed WG having an engine test, not sure if it was today or an old video though?

Red 11 (the two-seat Buchon) just made a very welcome "Hello to Duxford" fly through. Nice to finally get a look and listen to her. Welcome back for the first time since October 1968! I think the Paparazzi were drinking their cocoa at the time...

Because the excellent Duxford photographers pride themselves on capturing anything unusual that moves or flies at Duxford. Thanks for your efforts chaps.

Seems no one captured the Bolingbroke departing to Hawkinge yesterday either...

I reckon the Paparazzi's Picket-Hamilton lookout emplacement must have been left unmanned

Bit difficult to capture something like that if you don't know it's happening beforehand.

Back in the day, when there was some enthusiastic staff at Duxford, whoever was in the tower would announce the arrival of or let people know something interesting would be flying through. It looks like those days and people have gone, How sad!!!!!!

The only way is to permanently monitor the tower frequency. Even then it's not always obvious what's coming in,
if they don't give their aircraft type.

Bagged a trio, threesome, triumvirate, triad, troika, triple of T9s while I was there this afternoon. The second running of the Sea Fury took place as I was having a coffee in the "Clamoury"...
