Broussard heading West over old Hatfield airfield about 15.00, followed 20 minutes later by the Blenheim. First time I've seen him down here.

    Hi All,
28/08 early evening approximately 18:00 - 19:00. Something very high and very, very fast with a single vapour trail travelling weststwards on the horizon. Have checked for meteor reports for the date and time but nothing anybody else ?

Just heard a small fast jet pass over Purley - according to Flight Tracker a MiG-15 (N104CJ?) was in the Biggin area just before it disappeared!

I thought today was going to be a good day when I saw a Bentley Blower before 7.30a.m. Then AN2 at 08.00, later the Blades, then the Red Arrows and before finishing work a nice red Pitts Special.

Spitfire MJ627 was very active from Biggin Hill today. I heard so many take offs today so it could have been more than one spit doing flights.

Harvard taking off from Staverton this morning (pretty sure its a resident there?). Then earlier on this evening a Spitfire coming in to land. Not a bad day for spotting! ☺

Yesterday late afternoon what I think was RNHF Sea Fury heading WSW along the southern edge of Stansted TMZ I am guessing back to North Weald.
Can anyone confirm it was the T20? was she out that far or where had she been?

    Forgot to ad.
On Sunday afternoon the Seafury headed off past me to the NNE and returned about 50 mins later I am guessing to get some height for air testing, stalls etc, virtually over the top of the house on her return towards North Weald, lovely sound it was too!

Fairly certain I spotted P51d Mustangs Miss Helen and The Shark flying east along the line of the Clyde at around 10 this morning from my upstairs windiw in Helensburgh. Likely returning south from Prestwick after the weekend's airshow at Ayr Seafront. Guy

Thanks for the positive ID, Propstrike , I caught a glimpse of this formation soon after they'd passed over Panshanger but could not be sure what they were. Coincidence or not the ARC Beaver was in the same stretch of sky but possibly not in the group, the speed disparity being marked.

If anybody ever tells you anything about an aeroplane which is so bloody complicated you can't understand it, take it from me: It's all balls. RJM.

Merlin engined Spit just completed two circuits overhead in south Oxfordshire in the vicinity of Grove Technology Park (which used to have links to Robs Lamplough).

Been at Sywell today, with my daughter who went flying with the LAA, saw 5 chipmunks, 1 tiger moth, Miles Gemini, mustang kit build, and a beech 18 which I sat in and later pushed out onto the airfield, always a lovely sound, great talking to the owner and crew, a wonderful day at an aerodrome with great atmosphere.
