Northrop Tests Drones That Deploy in a [clustered munition dispenser]

Once the capsule is released, the drone would be pulled out by a parachute, unfold its 12-foot wings, and power up a small, wooden propeller. Remedy has a 10-hour flight time, at 69 knots.
That size is rather small and that pace incredibly slow for military aircraft, which is part of the point, said Thompson. The plane’s slowness makes it look like a bird to many types of military radar.

Magma: fluidic control for BAe stealth test drone*

BAE's Magma UAV utilizes wing circulation control, which uses air from the aircraft engine and blows it supersonically through the trailing edge of the wing, to provide control for the aircraft and fluidic thrust vectoring for change of direction.

The maneuvering concept for the aircraft's controls removes the conventional need for mechanical moving parts used to move flaps that control the aircraft during flight, reducing weight and maintenance costs and allowing for lighter, stealthier, and faster flight, the company says.

Given that BAE have been pushing ahead with this technology for over a decade, I wonder if it will feature in their FCAS system?

A detailed article with first flight video here:

Very possible if it works fine. They seem to vave been very far in VLO (and different solutions rom France and UK, due to soverignty issues) e.g. they are tryong to incredibly minimize maintenance periods of the engine so as to... Limit the number of time traps are opened/closed.
