I think I found a picture with the Dominican Republic P-51 nr 401 and 403. When enlarging the picture you can see that the outer ring on the roundel is darker than the inner circle. So I'm pretty sure this is the old roundel.

In this case what You can say about the rudder colours, all 4 fields of which look like they are in one colour ?

@ Flyer. Looking at the original there is a slight difference in graycolors.

a "wrong" roundel on this South Korean UH-1 (museum painters error?)

A couple more variations on the South Korean roundel, on two T-37s. First is an unusual version, second is the new one, with black bars.

If you look under the horizontal stabilizer of the Chipmunk, you can see a number, which is probably a Canadian registration in the C-XXXX range. So it appears to be a civilian aircraft that has been doctored up to appear somewhat military.

Anybody have images of aircraft with the old Niger roundel, used from 1961 to around 1980?

Information based on book "Poland's Captured Luftwaffe Warprizes (Polish Wings) (No.8)" by by Andrzej Morgala,‎ Wojciech Sankowski. During early post-war period gliders were marked in non-systematic way before official marking guidelines were made individual centres gave their ex-German glides Polish national markings of their own choosing, and those oblique ones were used for to overpaint German swastikas. Sometimes it was just a black square, red or red-white-red band and so on. Technically application of military markings on civilian gliders was illegal, but it still done during that period
