    The Crow

Classic gothic action movie about a man coming back from the dead to avenge the murders of both himself and his girlfriend.

Probably the finest superhero movie yet made.

    Jurassic World

Basically just the original film with a bigger budget, with none of the scares or charm.

It's Jurassic Park for people who haven't seen Jurassic Park!

    Hi All,
Hidden Figures 2016 (Via SKY Cinema) An excellent drama based on the true achievements by three women (Among many) that where the unsung
heroes of the US Space race having not only to put up with racism but sexism in a male dominated theatre of work. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would
recommend it to anybody interested in the space race for a peak through the curtain of what is rarely mentioned, except when brought to life in films such
as this. Not only that a good soundtrack and plenty of American cars from the 50's and the 60's.....

    Starring:-Taraji P. Henson,Octavia Spencer,Janelle Monáe,Kevin Costner,Kirsten Dunst,Jim Parsons,Glen Powell,Mahershala Ali,Karan Kendrick,
    Donna Biscoe,Joylette Coleman,Rhoda Griffis,Maria Howell,Aldis Hodge,Paige Nicollette,Gary Weeks as Reporter,Saniyya Sidney,Zani Jones Mbayise,
    Kimberly Quinn and Olek Krupa.

Three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson
(Janelle Monáe) -- serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into orbit,
a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.

Geostorm, with Gerard Butler. The world's weather is weaponised by rogue American Secret Service agents to disable potential enemies.
A complete load of hokum but with decent special FX and an entertaining enough way to spend an couple of hours.

romance and equal success in business with his old marketing techniques.

    Hi All,
    ~Alan~ - Was it a DP or Dazzle ?....

Live By Night 2016 (Via Sky Cinema) A somewhat sedated gangster film but when the action does happen it is good so on the whole although panned
by some critics as average I actually enjoyed this film..

    Starring:-Ben Affleck,Elle Fanning,Remo Girone,Brendan Gleeson,Robert Glenister,Matthew Maher,Chris Messina,Sienna Miller,Miguel Pimentel,
    Zoe Saldana,Chris Cooper,Titus Welliver,Max Casella,J. D. Evermore,Clark Gregg,Anthony Michael Hall,Chris Sullivan,Derek Mears and Gianfranco Terrin.

It's the Roaring `20s and Prohibition hasn't stopped the flow of booze in an underground network of gangster-run speakeasies. The opportunity to gain
power and money is there for any man with enough ambition and nerve, and Joe Coughlin, the son of the Boston Police superintendent, long ago turned
his back on his strict upbringing for the spoils of being an outlaw. But even among criminals there are rules, and Joe breaks a big one: crossing a powerful
mob boss by stealing his money and his moll.

    Dawn of the Dead

Zack Snyder's updated version of George Romero's classic zombie flick.

A group of people are trapped inside a shopping mall while a zombie apocalypse rages outside.

Gruesome in all the right places, and a storyline that speeds by, it's a great remake. I don't think it gets the credit it deserves!

    Ready Player One

Based on a book of the same name.

Lots of 80's references and more on top of that. Story is about a Virtual Reality game called the Oasis and the hunt for keys hidden in the game, that will lead to the finder of all three to becoming the owner of the company that runs it.

Need to read the book now.
