Do I remember right that our very own Cotteswold flew at least one Vengeance? I don't think he was a fan, mind.

I've taken a hell of a lot from this forum in the 18 years (****!) I've been on board, and envied hugely those more closely connected than me. It's nice to have been able to have a little tease about something that I know about for once. Maybe not very adult, but a nice feeling. Hugely looking forward...

    A Stuka.

    A Stuka?

replied to HURRICANE film - first impressions
Just imagine the fuss in these parts if someone released a film about the Battle of Britain where the bombers and fighters had the wrong engines and the Spitfires were all the wrong marks, and had the wrong squadron codes. There'd be people queuing up to takie potshots at it.

I'll comment, as a limey. (it's cheap, but it's all I'm paying for!).

They're keeping quiet until it's on TV - or so I was told by the chap on their stall at Brize. The usual TV money thing I guess. Should be fairly soon. There's lots of it, even if some of the bits are quite small. Certainly...
