    I heard a rumour that the Meteor that was going to Brunty was going to have its engines removed. I suspect that they will be following WA591 to the States as spares.

    I recall a damaged Turbulent coming in to The Aeroplane Collection's workshops at Warmingham, Cheshire, around 1990. It was just passing through and had been acquired by Ken Fern of Stoke on Trent and, I believe, sold on.

    It was thought to have been involved in a crash as the mainplane...
