    Sorry, I missed your original question. Better late than never. Banupa is one of the trade names for a type of sealing washer my company sells. They are actually bonded washers, but I like to give our products their own special name. This one came about as my youngest son was working for me in his school hols. At lunch-time I used to joke with him what I was eating, so an apple I call an appoo. He generally despaired with his dad, but it made him smile. Anyway, the next day I had a banana and he said "I suppose that's an Bananoo?" I said don't be so silly, It's a banupa! By coincidence, this washer needed a name and he basically dared me to call it a banupa washer and so that was that! On the forum I needed a nickname, so that's what I used.
