    Hello Peter, The change to black cockpit interior came just post WWII. I will see if I can find a reference The Pilots Notes show grey/green. My Seafire 46 LA564 started life as a 22 PV585 that was cancelled. It was originally grey/green but during the build at South Marston as a Seafire was painted matt black above and including the the datum longeron. The Navy may have changed before the RAF. I would check out the 24 PK724 at Hendon. It is basically unmolested. If green I would favour that for PK624. If black I think you would be save to go with either.
