Delete the component serials and DTD numbers from the fin, rudder and fuselage: they are only applied to vertical surfaces on the starboard side....

    Hi Lee

Can you give me more info on where you are with the Dove & Heron book as I have lots of top quality colour shots you might like to use, including air-to-air poossibly for the cover?

    If interested, contact me at

    Best regards

    Hi Lee
I hope you may be able to help me here if possible please.
I am looking for colour scheme details and pilots name for a Sea Fury that was on board HMS Glory on her 3rd tour, WG599 161/R is the plane in question but so far i have not been able to find any photos or leads on the pilot.
I worked with Jeff Rushen at North Weald on VX281 during her engine rebuild and he had some of your colour scheme work in the hanger for the T20.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Yes, WG714 was used exclusively on RAF charge, mainly with A&AEE.

I see that you were an apprentice at Fleetlands. I worked next door at Cyanamid as was and was able to watch all the comings and goings from my office window. Those were the days 1973 ish.

I bought a copy of your helicopter book the other day and so far have only got to the Drangonfly but I did notice something that others may have already pointed out but I thought I would mention anyway.

It seems that you have omitted the Dragonfly history for WG714. All the others seem to be presnt and correct. Was this machine transferred to the RAF by chance??

Excellent book and I must say, very good value for money. Things to all involved in researching and compiling it.

  5. Yes, am still involved. Just waiting for something to happen and someone to write some words for me to upload. Everyone is extremely busy at the moment, with John currently in the USA. Keep checking the site for updates.

Are you still involved with RNHF?
Any idea when there will be a new update of the website?

    Dear Lee

    Michel Lozares, from Spain.
I´m writting a book about spanish C-54s history. Days ago I posted a question in the forum asking for anyone could have any pic of RAF Skymaster KL978 :

It seems you have any pic. So I would appreciate a lot please, I can include it in my book. I´m going to include pics for each aircraft in the different Air Forces them were assigned during their operational live, so, that KL978 is very interesting.

Hope you can help me please.
Thank you very much in advance
    Best wishes
