    Hi Owen,
My apologies for such a tardy response to your message of 31 Oct. I have not looked at 'messages' for some time - must do better - however I try to limit my time on the PC as vast swathes of time can just disappear. Also, I wasn't expecting any messages and so didn't look! You may recall we were in touch a number of years ago when I was enquiring about the location of Kenneth's crash on the Dunkirk beach.
Regarding Hawker Restorations, they can be difficult to contact. I'm not sure if it is because they are too busy or that it is just a small staff, very probably a mixture of both. Certainly they do not have a large support staff. I can well see an upward trend in interest in 'Down to Earth' with the publicity surrounding the first flight. It will neatly follow the recent first flight of an ex Dunkirk casualty MkI Spitfire. A book comes out soon on the story of that aircraft. I haven't seen P2902 for a couple of years - when it was still skeletal - must get a bit more up to date.
    Regards
    Geoff Rayner
