I have some plans in 1/48 scale which I would like to resize to 1/72. I can resize documents on a nearby photocopier, but the problem is it only resizes to a whole percentage point. Fine, unless you are rescaling to two-thirds as I am which comes out, as every schoolboy knows, as 66.6666666666666 recurring%. I've tried 66% and 67% but they are both just wrong enough to matter.

What I want to know (and have been unable to work out in my limited skull) is: can I get to a whole percent in stages - i.e. if I photocopy the plans to a different scale, can I then photocopy the photocopy and get it bang on 1/72?

Any thoughts?
