-I used to love Corgi Aviation Archive models when they first came out. I remember happily buying the York, Lancastrian, And Stratocruiser, probably in part because they were not readily available in plastic form. But then the quality seemed to start to fail a bit on things like the fit of undercarriages and stands; bit frustrating not to be able to pick up the Viscount model without the undercarriage units falling off one by one. Still got quite a few in the loft though, and nice to take one out and display it every so often. Does anyone know if the earlier releases are collectible at all?

-Have a friend of mine who deals in the Corgi models and he saw some of the 2006 releases at a roadshow - the catalina looked impressive as did the Swordfish.

I am a huge corgi fan and thought the corgi 2006 catlogue would be of some interest to you all: -

Be warned first, its 10MB  It also contains models of cars and trucks but I'm sure some of you, like me, are obsessed with these too,

Edit - Can you post recommendations for purchases (doesn't have to be corgi - they don't have a particularly big aviation section - i posted the catalogue anyway), I prefer recommended products rather than buying from pictures, you can never tell the quality
