I've seen this beauty posted up somewhere before, but it'd be rude to pass up the opportunity to say WOW again! :)
I suspect if you're anything like me the leftovers will have found a new use rather than going in the bin... ;)

I finished this B-17 back in July 2011, but can't remember whether I shared any pictures at the time. It is the Airfix rebox of the Academy kit, much modified with much thrown away! I think I had more bits left at the end of the build, than those from the kit that ended up in the finished model.
