Recently received a new book on British Phantoms...there might be more info on it there though I would tend to believe that it wouldn't make any sense to use pods on the centerline, and I'm wondering if gear location isn't a factor on the outboard wing hardpoints. Ten pods is still a lot of rockets though...imagine that but with a targeting pod and APKWS!

Impressive not by load but asymmetric config.

Its the first time I see such an asymmetric loaded flying hip...

I was trying to point out the absence of any external stores racks/pylons in the port side of the Hip... generally you see the racks/pylons attached both sides...

            Regards.-

It's always cool to see GR3A/Jaguar with the over wing Sidewinders/Magic 2. Mirage F.1 should have used that trick when they carried R530's and wingtip Magic 2 for an extra pair of missiles.

I'm pretty sure GR3A uses them to find overhead targets when they fly low.

Wouldn't the over-wing pylons be detrimental to the performance of the F.1's wing?
