    The Thread of Prototypes Only

    hi,I'm very interested in the first prototypes of the aircrafts,I contemplation these prototypes always and I notify its not only a prototypes,but she's a great antiques.
    plz post any prototype with information
    1-Boeing YC-14A,this is 2nd prototype STOL transport aircraft.
    2-McDonal Doglas YC-15A Experimental prototype that never went into production,C-130 win.
    3-F-15B Eagle,this prototype of Strike Eagle,F-15E
    4-Sud SE-3200 Frelon 1959,prototype of Super Frelon after.

    The first J29 Tunnan prototype.


    "Bl Urban", the first Lansen A32 protoype.


    32502, the second prototype for the J32B.


    "Lill- Draken", a prototype for testing of the dubbeldelta layout for the Draken.

    39101, the first serialproduced Gripen filled the spot of the crashed first prototype.

              2-YF-117A Nighthawk prototype.
              3-B-1B last remains of the prototype type B.
              4-YF-17A Cobra 2nd prototype.
              5-Sepecat-Jaguar B prototype,flew in 30-Aug-1971.

                            Kfir prototypes

                            1 - IAI RA'AM (1973) - A conversion of an IAI-Nesher with a J-79 engine (His name is used today for the F-15I means thunder) crashed 3/75.
                            2,3 - IAI Technolog (1970) - A converted MirageIIIB that was used as a test-bed for the conversion with the J-79 engine and the design of canards, later on used as a prototype for the two-seated kfirs (TC's).

                                    IAR-93 Romanian prototype 001 (Yugoslavia had its own prototype(s)
                                    IAR-317 Airfox - an antitank version of the SA.316 Alouette III, only one built in 1984, it was the first Eastern attack helo displayed in the West (at Le Bourget 1985)
