were the Su-7B capable of carrying weapons on 4 underwing stations ?
I have only seen them carry 2 stubby rocket pods one under each wings but has seen models with 4 weapon stations all togather
and 2 belly fuel tanks
can someone verify this ?
thanks

I don't think so. The engine's fuel consumption pretty much mandated that two drop tanks were regularly carried, limiting stores to the two outer wing pylons. Su-7BMK had additional wing pylons. The regular wing pylon being relegated to the carriage of the 158 gallon drop tanks, and the new pylons carrying UB-16 rocket pods. Fuselage stations could probably been used for the carriage of either stores or fuel at the same time, but rarely observed that way.

after 1969 all Su-7B (along with the Su-7BM a Su-7BKL) has god another pair of pylons under the outer panels of the wing (another pair of pylons has got some previously manufactured planes as well). By this intervention in the structure, the maximum load capacity of the overhead armament was increased from 2,000 kg to 2,500 to 3,000 kg (but with 3,000 kg of load planes never flew).
