What external stores are actually cleared on Rafale - not just fit-checked but flown, cleared and in service? I know it's a long list!

Brimstone isn't in service on Rafale yet, and I'm pretty sure that the big 'Hammer' won't come in until F4 - I wonder how many of the other weapons aren't yet cleared and in service. The twin gun pod, perhaps? Meteor?

The Meteor is cleared since 2017 and i think the delivery to FAF started in 2018.

          http://www.defens-aero.com/2017/04/m...re-rafale.html

I never see the rockets pod under a Rafale but that don't mean FAF don't have it. FAF had some gun pod i see it on a M2000 but never in operation on a Rafale.
Don't know if the big Hammer was already used..

For the Brimstone it was proposed to the FAF but they chose to develop the AASM 125 instead.

Not really. AASM 125 was never fully developed. Doctrina was well... To expensive, lets go for AASm 1T and "smartglider" Brimstone being too expensive.

There is no rocket pod under RAfale atm. Under M2K you may find a large number laucher of laser guided lifgtweight bombs. (cant rmember the name, sorry). That said, a pod for induction launched rockests is in the pipes.

The twin Gun Pod is sadly only for the Taiwanese M2K* (and as an extra treat, it is fitted with a pair of modern ADEN canon - see a post I made in the M2k thread) .

How many MICA IR, MICA EM, and Meteors can the Rafale be fitted with? I don't think I've ever seen the forward underfuselage pylons fitted or the centerline pylon(s) fitted with anything but an external fuel tank

It seems the French don't have a requirement for more than 6 AAMs.
AAMs on the centerline are not cleared afaik, neither are AAMs on innermost wing pylons. That means 8 AAMs is the maximum at the moment, if you use the outer underwing pylons, which the French don't. Like so: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HA0sLZfRD...ike-GBU-24.png
2 Meteors can be carried under the fuselage, 2 more under the wings where the GBU-24s are in the above pic, but again the French only seem to use the 2 underfuselage stations.

The centerline is being used for other stuff than fuel quite often. Esp. on Rafale M.

MoD also took the opportunity to announce the notification to Safran, of the early study program "Turenne 2"worth more than 100 million euros, which will focus on the development of new high pressures turbines more resistant to heat, to give more power to the engines of the Rafale. These studies "should allow us to gain 150 [C] degrees by 2025," she said

Was tested at around 2300/2400K at DGA propulseurs 2 years ago. New PEA (Turenne 2) signed today.

Ceremony to launch the F4 standard development. If you understand French you will note the emphasis of the technological leap this standard brings from the French Mindef :
