Usually, the "you are with us or against us" kind of rhetoric tends to not work well for those who demand it.

Anyway, from my understanding, India wasn't serious with F-35. Doesn't seem like India is serious about anything anymore tbh.

As well, I don't see anywhere of what deals were cancelled. Instead, I see new deals being formed with middle Eastern and Asian nations.

The US foreign relations is rather childish and will ultimately push people away from them. See example of Nordstream 2 or Turkey with S-400.

US State Department: new sanctions have frustrated Russia's contracts for $ 3 billion
Well, sanctions have certainly harmed the ability of Russian banks/credit type deals to assist in weapons exports.
As for the actual figure, seems like State Department self-aggrandizement- hell Russia recently slid in with multi-billion dollar deals to what should have been gimmies for the US (Egypt and Iraq).

That is because Washington would guard against the leakage of F-35 technology into the FGFA.
Now this is absurd, we have gone from "India will make FGFA trully 5th gen" to "India will harness F-35 tech to make FGFA better".

The Kh-58UShKE graphic from years ago showed one per bay as well.
Which graphic? Kh-58UShK should be two per bay, 4 internally total. Bay was designed very much around that missile size AFAIK.

        Also, from Austin's link:

Next in line is “a major shipbuilding program,” of which details are yet to be made public, and a similar one concerning rotorcraft
Any idea? Mi-17s, or attach helos? Corvettes, or Kilos?

US dep could be aiming towards SA visit to Moscow recently, and any prospect of bying Russian stuff.
But in hindsight, i don't really think SA was ever that seriously here. They just wanted to send WH a signal, that they want better deals with US or else.. SA first and so on..

Configuration of Raptor is a triangle-like one: two Amraam back and one forward with the body between them: what actually prevent a similar arrangement for RVV-SD?

So all US diplomat now tasked with preventing Russian defence contract ? I wonder how does that work , Russian customers mostly are those who would not any way buy or denied US arms , there are some like India Algeria etc who would procure both from West and Russia and then is Indonesia who would want some kind of barter payment method.
if Russia withdraw from India market. let see how much price gouging India will face and with lack of independent exercise of military power India will lose in to China. Algeria main airforce and attack choppers Russia made.

small country like Japan it so costly.
                  https://www.japantimes.co.jp/opinion.../#.Wo2ffUxFzIU
The PAC-3 is deployed at 16 locations in Japan. But the PAC-3 is said to be capable of intercepting an enemy missile within a radius of less than 20 km. This means that more than 99 percent of Japans land area is not covered with ground-based interceptor missiles. Failure to shoot down just one North Korean missile with a nuclear warhead would have devastating consequences beyond imagination.

Trailer below. I made a photo of the front end as it is hard to catch in the video, interesting intake design.

I played with photoshop and edited my screenshot so the intake design is better visible:

Its not hypersonic missile but likely a supersonic ramjet one , A hypersonic missile would have a blunt nose and different kind of intake the intake is tell tale of supersonic ramjet engine

It's a nice concept work. But the question is of course where it would be built and when. I would love to see more Yasens tho or more Gorshkov FFG's. or Leader.

Have 2 built by China and trade it for 4 Yasen class subs.

Then you can lower unit cost of Yasen class and pop them out at an accelerated rate.

Good luck manning those! Even the lower end of the complement goes beyond the highest figures I've seen for the only slightly smaller, 1980s Ulyanovsk CVN!

Just too big and too expensive for a navy which has less use for them than most nations operating carriers. Subs would indeed be more useful, if they have money to burn (which they don't).
