Just waiting for you to promote the F-16xx and F-35 for IAF.. again, if nothing else.

And fyi, India has not Rejected buying the Su-57.
They have rejected the FGFA version, i suspect after India held talks with Sukhoi, they was told the cost for a highly customized two seater Su-57(or sigel seater!) was too costly to pursue, and it was agreed that the FGFA was official dead.
That does not mean IAF wont get the Russian Su-57.
The Su-57 is delayed alright, due the engine development no doubt.

India will engage in new talks for Su-57 down the road, just be patience.
LOL Your on Medication if you think India will ever acquire the Su-57 from Russia. Hell, Russia isn't likely to get nothing more than a very modest number. In order to save what little pride it has left.....

As for the F-16 and F-35 India doesn't really have much of a choice. As it has to come up with something that it can afford. While, also something to counter future Chinese Stealth Fighters. (i.e. J-20 and J-31)

So, odds favor India acquiring the F-16 short-term and F-35 long-term. (IMHO)

With Trump asking to sanction them if they buy S400? Doubtful.

On the last week of a Red Flag exercise we really throw everything we have at the Blue Force and replicate the toughest adversary possible, because thats what they will face in a high-end fight against a near peer competitor,

              https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-n...er-russian-mod

first flown in 2008, the SM3 represented a non-exportable Flanker version brought to life out of the Kremlins desire to support KAZ (then known as KnAAPO, for Komsomolsk-upon-Amur Aircraft Production Association) at a time when the factory was converting from the Classic (Su-27) to the Advanced (Su-35) Flanker. The Su-27SM3 was viewed as an interim model using the older airframe with newer onboard systems and mission equipment.

Hope Tango III comes back, he was a great resource for assimilating all the daily Aviation news and we really hadn't had someone who was this dedicated towards the role (I initially thought he was a keypub bot ) since Pirate left and started his own website..

                  More Rafale fun in India:
An FIR against Modi is now inescapable. Surjewala said an FIR should be filed against Modi in the wake of the report of the Indian negotiation team on the pricing of the deal, which has been placed in the public domain. The price of the 36 aircraft is 8,460 million or Rs 63,450 crore, and not what is claimed by Prime Minister Modi and his government which is 7,890 million or Rs 59,000 crore

So India can afford an obsolete F-16 at the cost of what? 65 mill a pop?
And at the same time cannot continue to buy(PRODUCE) the MKI at the exact same price tag above.

As the MKI will eventually get an big MLU with 117S engines, IAF will have a jet that can fly longer, with much more ordinance, which makes it that much more capabale over any F-16.
And continue their supply chain for their already 250+ MKI's fleet.

And btw, good luck mounting a 2.500 kg Brahmos under senter hardpoints on F-16 or F-35

Jeez your post is getting more delusional by the day.
                    Thanks

Sorry for the late posting here (story is a couple days old now)...

The U.S. Air Forces new T-X jets could be more than just trainers, with aggressor or light-attack missions now on the table for the Boeing-made plane, the head of Air Combat Command said.

The U.S. Navy has signed delivery order for Bell-Boeing team to upgrade an additional four MV-22 Osprey aircraft to the Block C configuration.

The modification to a previously awarded contract, announced Friday by the U.S. Department of Defense, is worth more than $85,7 million and provides for the upgrade of four MV-22 aircraft from the Block B to the Block C configuration in support of the Common Configuration Readiness and Modernization Program (CC-RAM).
