                  Failed hard there Scooter.
Just waiting for you to promote the F-16xx and F-35 for IAF.. again, if nothing else.

And fyi, India has not Rejected buying the Su-57.
They have rejected the FGFA version, i suspect after India held talks with Sukhoi, they was told the cost for a highly customized two seater Su-57(or sigel seater!) was too costly to pursue, and it was agreed that the FGFA was official dead.
That does not mean IAF wont get the Russian Su-57.
The Su-57 is delayed alright, due the engine development no doubt.

India will engage in new talks for Su-57 down the road, just be patience.

Its' unbelievable that a Boeing factory can't follow proper routines... that Boeing, a 100+ year company, certainly put first in place. Litter and debris, as dangerous as they can be when left in cavities, are of a slightly minor concerns here. But tools should be registered and accounted at the end of the day.
The mad tempo and tight budget are certainly a primary cause in this debacle.

Looks like UAC is taking certain measures to see a new big IAF MKI MLU coming their way.

                            Strictly my opinion here...

Boeing has been under the gun since they got the contract, which was originally awarded to Airbus. I've often wondered what results would be seen had Airbus been the company building the new tanker, and not Boeing.

Can Dassault Keep Up Its Partnership with Reliance Naval for Rafale?

In the euphoria over the Surgical Strike 2.0, the small matter of Rafale purchases appear to have suddenly gone off the media radar. In spite of the Supreme Court initiating contempt of court proceedings against Anil Ambani, there is hardly talk about its likely impact on his credibility and his companys subsequent ability to do business with global aircraft manufacturers.
The fact of the matter is that Anil Ambani has four weeks to extricate himself from a jail term by paying up Rs.453 crore to creditors. But, its not about the payout anymore it is about credibility, not just his own, but for the sake of the multi-crore deal for manufacturing Rafale fighter jets under license from Dassault.

                                        [...]
The question is whether Dassault would feel comfortable doing business with a company thats facing cases both in the courts as well as at the debt tribunal. Of course, there is also the fact that Reliance Naval hasnt been in top form ever since it was acquired by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) in March 2015.
since there is no IAF thread anymore and this is a news...

The sad news is that now when a major airline will make a big order, some will say that it would be a single stone for two strikes: getting good planes and new tools for their empty handed mechanics!
