Poland plans to acquire 32 "fifth-generation" aircraft to replace its remaining MiG-29s and a ground-attack fleet of Sukhoi Su-22s. It is believed to be particularly interested in the Lockheed Martin F-35, although other candidates could include the Boeing F-15 or F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, the Eurofighter consortium's Typhoon and the Saab Gripen E.

The US won't sanction India over the S400. You can take that to the bank. As for the F-16 vs Eurofighters. (i.e. Typhoon & Rafale) The F-16 will be cheaper and just or more capable in the strike role. In addition it could easily lead to the F-35. Which, is a "must" for India in order to counter future J-20's and J-31's.

BTW This forum has nothing on F-16.net

The size of the Indian territory related to S-400 range is quite a different challenge than it is with Turkey.

As for sanction the US won't apply any to India for acquiring the S400. Which, it has made very clear. (again apples and oranges with Turkey)

Nor, is the US "desperate" to sell Military Hardware to India. Which, is not to say it wouldn't be happy to do so. Just like anybody else.

Any Sanction works to the very same effect.

If US are applying pressure in India, not in a lifetime will India buy any US Fighter.
