With all it's derelict airframe, Hornets, bought originally or imported (very) used and now this bizarre buy of the residues of failed a,d costly project, CANADA is set soon to be known as the NORAD bazaar...

Last year, the government acknowledged that the development and procurement of the prototype, a signals-intelligence sensor called "ISIS" and spare parts, and the completion of seven test flights had cost about 681 million euros since 2007. A further 24 million euros were spent on preparing for a resumption of temporary test flights.

According to the government's latest response to Left Party lawmakers, which hasn't been published yet, the drone has already been "demilitarized." This entailed the removal of American-made radio equipment, the GPS receiver and aerials, as well as all encryption and the flight control system. Rather than laboriously delete individual software components, technicians chose to perform a "hardware uninstallation" removing all hard drives containing sensitive U.S.-made software.

"The question is what a buyer would do with such a gutted aircraft," said Thomas Wiegold

Iranian stealth drones allegedly strike in Eastern Euphrates

                                https://en.muraselon.com/2018/10/ira...kes-euphrates/

                                Your opinion about the video?

My own is that some things are a little suspect.

In the sense that the single things showed seems me to be real i.e. no CGI /special effect.

BUT montage is too overengineered (too many different camera views) for a less than 20 second video allegedly portraying something happened just yesterday.

So, IMHO drone exist, footage show its own state-of-art capability but it is made on purpose and not show a real combat operation.

                                  Diodes all over?!!
Screw's size from the brackets inside the bomb bay doors indicates that the missile bay is very small. This thing is probably not much bigger than an RC drone.
Last but not least, why would you need stealth technology to bomb something not protected by an IADS?

I have found a picture of it, if real, small maybe it can be but surely not a RC model.

Excuse me, in what is this different from sending an F-35 to bomb goat herders in Afghanistan or launching a Kh-101 from a Tu-160 taking off from Arctic Cycle to engage something you can hit with an already deployed missile launcher from Latakia?

You want to show you have a new operative capability, so what better way than use it in real combat?
