          Togo apparently acquired at least one Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopter. The photograph below is from the military parade in the capital of Lom, 2013.

                      from which (small ?) country are these Saab MFI-15's ??? ;http://crimso.msk.ru/Images6/AE/AE03-2/2-1.jpg

                      friendly, Etienne

                      I think I've found the answer ;
                      MFI-15 SE-FIZ - med tillverkningsnummer 15.004 - flg frsta gngen 1973-03-27 och sldes till Sierra Leone tillsammans med systerkrran SE-FIY (15.003).

                      SE-FIY blev skrot efter en kollison med en gam 1976, men FIZ levde vidare, frst som GST-444 och omreggades drefter under vren 1975 till GS-P7.
                      SIERRA LEONE ??

                        Yes, they certainly are from Sierra Leone. Too bad they didn't mark them with roundels!

                              Was this their last operational mil aircraft ??

                              till now I couldn't find more recent pics... do I have to consider -also- the SLAF as an HISTORIC one ???

                                      Sierra Leone ....

                                      thanks for your pics, Greg...

                                      their Puma seems to be a military one, BUT when was taken that picture ? (photo # 220109... in which site ??)

                                      I'm afraid the SLAF is now an HISTORIC one ; found in Wikipedia (last modified on 25 May 2013) :

                                      ..................................
                                      The Republic of Sierra Leone Air Force was merged with the other services to form the RSL Armed Forces from 2002. Sierra Leone has a very small air component with a limited offensive capability. The status of its equipment is unknown, but the aircraft are not operable

                                        Hi Etienne, in World Air Forces 2013, from Flight International Revue, they listed 2 Mi-17 and 1 Mi-24 as active in Sierra Leone Air Force.
