Thanks for the top view showing the flag insignia!!! Wonder if they're on the bottoms of the wings, too? From my examination of the side-view photo, looks to me like they aren't, but can't be 100% sure.

It seems that Ugandan L-39s wear two kinds of roundels on the wings: number 151 has Ugandan flags, AF701, AF702, AF703 and AF735 have "real" roundels.

        Fake !!

Pics show the N139BH (cn 731014), a former GDR Air Force L-39ZO.

        GDR Air Force ... 151
        German Air Force ... 28 11
1995 sold to Aero Phoenix (USA)
        1998 registed as N43675
        2001 registed as N139BH

You can see the changes that were required by the FAA for private use. These are not found in the original L-39.
        (see picture)

That does not mean it's fake. It has simply been bought second-hand.
If you look at the video, the airport and landscape are definitely Africa, not USA

You're right. The video shows Entebbe in Uganda.
A purchase, albeit second hand, but does not make sense, since the machine has no military equipment more.

L-39ZO (Z for ZBRANE - weapons) is a interim weapon trainer variant for export.

And what about the civilian US registration?
Even from a purely legal it is but exclude an air force, outside the United States, civil certified aircraft flying with American registry.
On 11.5.2011 (date of the video), it was still a United States Machine.

Demo flight in Uganda with country roundels applied ? Seems that registration expired the 30/06/2011 in USA.

Maybe a way of how to avoid ITAR? I know that once on US soil, even foreign-made military products are subject to export regulations.
