      Yes, it's particularly difficult to give a good definition of the "executive outcomes" militia.
      They were also already in activity, for exemple, in Angola in 1993.
      For the beginning of their deployment in 1995 in Sierra Leone, the crew of the Mi-24 (delivered via Ukraine) can be seen below :
      Bielorussian pilot :
      Russian navigator/weapon operator :
      Russian mechanic :

          Is the Madagascar A/F (also) an historic one ??

          I think so... don't try to find an 'in flight' view; all the available pics are in museum's or of wrecks.

          .............................except this (old ?) one (from the previous A/F thread) ;

                  Who dare to pretend that Madagascar Air Force is not operationnal ?
                  These aicrafts seems immaculate to me and combat capable.

                            For Etienne : I've read somewhere that some of the Alouette II of the Madagascar Air Force were ex-belgian ones.

                                          Hello Etienne. This particular picture seems really suspect for me too and is, possibly, a scale model. The fuselage details seems far too big for a real metallic skin.
                                          I've already seen this picture here : http://iiaf.net/goldencrown/gcphotoarch.html where a more real one is also present. But I'm not an expert in scale models.
