    Strange thing is, that the http://www.planelist.net/ website shows them as C for Current .... and no info as wfu or transferred ....
    That profile is nice, but has the wrong number, 905 instead of 805....

      JF-17M #17-04 Myanmar AF spotted !
      Attached Files
      ...

      He was my North, my South, my East and West,
      My working week and my Sunday rest,
      My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
      I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.

      The stars are not wanted now; put out every one:
      Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
      Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods:
      For nothing now can ever come to any good.

          That's a South Sudan Mi-8, and the first good close-ups I've seen of one. The one in the background in the first picture is in Turkmenistan markings, the old variant.

            Oops, my bad......why did I call this Mi-8 "Comorian" ....with a South Soudanese flag on the tail boom...only the harmful effects of alcohol on my neurons or should I consult ??

            Sorry guys, small problem of misclassified pictures and no verification before posting... and note that these are two Mi-8 of different models.

              No worries- you're fine. Now when you get to my age, that's another story. Reminds me of a joke. How can you tell that you're getting older? When you forget to pull your zipper up. How can you tell that you've gotten old? When you forget to pull your zipper down. :-)

                        Whether or not South Korea's naval air component currently constitutes a small air force is debatable, but in its early years it certainly did. And here's a really weird one from that naval air arm- a South Korean Navy Mignet Pou-du-Ciel! There were all sorts of variants of this tiny aircraft. Can you believe that there is a 1/144 scale resin model of the thing? http://www.hyperscale.com/2015/revie...reviewmd_1.htm

                                  Hi,
                                  by accident I found these two great pics of UAE Mirage 5EADs - 505 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/40263244@N04/11532930034/ and 502 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/40263244@N04/11532892665/
                                  The caption says it was taken in PAC Kamra, Pakinstan in February 1991. Do we know what happened to them and when they were phased out of UAE AF ? IIRC they were sold to Pakistan (as nearly all surviving Mirage III/5s from all over the world).
                                  Thanks. Jakub

                                          I wonder if the SAAF stripped the leopard-skin detailing off the steps after they bought it from him.
