Given the reddish runway pavement. I think that rotorless Mi-24 Hind to the right could be a Liberian example.

I guess it could be the only Liberian Mi-24 Hind grounded due to technical problem.

Robert taylor regime had attempted to acquire two Mi-24/35 Hinds from Kyrgyzstan, but one was detained by the Slovak custom service while the other one could make it to be delivered to Liberia after minor repair in late 90.

Please let me know if I have incorrectly identified it.

This Mi-8PS seems to be a part of Joseph Kabila's presidential fleet.

MSphere mate !! Many thanks for providing reg for that DR Congolese Mi-8PS presidential helicopter.

I've pulled out every stop to get at least one pic of DR Congolese MiG-23MS Flogger in storage from the fb, though, In reality, it never came into fruition.

After months of trolling the fb, I've never made it to track down a single DR Congolese AF personnel's personal profile for those who serve in the Kamina AFB.

Maybe they're strictly censored and had to remove any pics against the security violation.
but at least I have hooked up a pic of DR Congolese SF-260MC Warrior today.

Hopefully everyone could enjoy this novelty to the utmost.

MSphere.. They're not exactly what I want.

I'm seeking for something new with new roundel on the fin from facebook, however, It doesn't seem to work out smoothly. They never revealed recently their MiG or Sukhoi fighter jets/bombers based at Kamina AFB.

Even such as spotting trips or Base tours at there may also not have been permitted.

Frankly speaking, Those two pics from an internet website which is now shut downed were received from a gentleman who's specialized in collecting thousand of pics focusing on the African Military Aviation from the facebook.

I'm gettin ya. The question is whether the new roundels have been applied to MiG-23s, at all. I am not convinced they have seen much use, if any..

If you guessed it is right.

How come two DR Congolese MiG-23UB Floggers would be disappeared from N'djili AFB in 2015?

Those two floggers with national flag on the fin were observed in 2007 when EUFOR choppers from Germany were sharing that spacious hangar with DR Congolese AF.

It's strongly convincing me that these two Floggers in flyable condition may have flown itself to Kamina AFB.

Here are a few high-res images of JWTZ Fighter jets based out of Ngeregere AFB.

They're revealed during relatively recent visit of PLAAF delegation.

Two dull silver F-6s in storage and a FT-7 in unusual camouflage finish are noteworthy.

I sure would love to get a close-up of that new insignia. I think I'll travel the world taking up-close photos of aircraft for serious small air force modelers once I grow up.

The Mi‐24V is externally similar to earlier Mil Mi‐24D but normally fitted with Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) on H shaped missile rails on end of stub wings (see photograph in picture in main body of text) and has a modified radio guidance pod which is more streamlined. However, image below of a South Sudan Mil Mi‐24 shows an aircraft that appears to be converted from a Mi‐24K (camera recce version) with the under nose camera removed which leaves a distinctive bulge on the starboard side of the nose (yellow circle). Without sights, the helicopter cannot fire ATGMs from the H-shaped rails visible on the picture in text above. This can indicate that South Sudan is in possession of two different types of Mil Mi-24 helicopters. It is unlikely that new Mil Mi-24K helicopters, designed specifically for reconnaissance purposes, have undergone modular refitting of the kind visible on the picture prior to delivery, making it likely that this helicopter is not newly acquired by South Sudan.

Nice !!! so they have at least one Mi-24K, even if the fuselage doors seem to be standard
