    Have you ever seen Kh-31 launch? Can i suggest that you do?

    It falls for a while before it actually fires, at that point the plume is nowhere near the plane.

      I agree, doesnt look like it is from a rocket plume, surface around would have been seriously burned,dark, is it? thanks for that additional pic anyway.

          I am no Jo, but what he says is that MiG-29K (First one will be KUB, actually) will start deliveries this year. He expects contract for MiG-35's to be signed soon. However, the most interesting part is that he said more deliveries of SMT's are also planned. There has been some "whispers in the hall" about this, but first time "official".

            Besides 31 Mi-17s bought in the past 2 years, the Pentagon plans to buy another 30 Mi-17s for Afgan........
