Apparently Akhtu runway is under repair, hence Su-35S' being relocated to Zhuk for the time being. Hope S-2 with its "stripes" makes to there as well.

PS: And the "MR" picture is indeed M4. Not M3 or MR.

Oh my.. Cy-35C or Su-35S... i think the majority of the posters understand its the same thing.
    Great move Sherlock.

Irkut do it all the time with their MC-21/MS-21.

By that I mean that they have an article in latin text and call it the MC-21.

For your information, i am Norwegian too. Also, i said it jokenly, TR1 didn't start to go Sherlock on me. But whatever.

PS: Seems the TsAGI VTOL designs sneaked under the radar during one of the shows last year...

Wow.. again nice move Sherlock. And now you can with ease unclinch your @ss cheeks and return to military Aviation.

                  Back to topic.
Wasn't the Plan for KnAAPO to deliver 12 Su-35S in this year. If so they allready put out the first four units in Feb. Perhaps they plan to complete the first order and continue with additional units from the second deal(96units) this year?
                  Thanks

The 2nd order (well, more like option at this point) is for 48 more planes, not 96.

I believe they have a ways to go on the first order though, way too early to talk about work past 2015.
If current pace is indeed 12 birds per year, then they should be able to finish the current contract by the end of 2015.

10 Su-25SM3's were delivered yesterday, although i suspect those are not true SM3's. We will see when pictures appear i guess.

The number of upgraded Su-25SMs for this year is supposed to be twelve, 10 already? Are these leftovers from 2012?

The February Flankers were part of 2012 production, that is 8 aircrafts(03,04,06,07,08,09,11,12). The plan is indeed for 12 Su-35S, 14 Su-34 and 15 Yak-130 this year. It would be nice to know, what is the aim for Su-30SM production? I guess the pace should be about 15 aircrafts per year through 2016, but it probably won't be there for this year.

I believe Irkut is aiming @ 10 airframes this year.

So RuAF should be getting in the vicinity of 35 Flankers in 2013.

United Aircraft Corporation will deliver 300 new aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense over the next two years

United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will deliver 300 new aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) during a period from 2013 to 2015. The new contracts with the MoD should be signed soon, Interfax reports.

It was stated by the Director of the Directorate of Air Force programs UAC, ex-Commander-in-Chief of the Russian air forces, Vladimir Mikhailov. "The new contract should be signed in late February – early March", - he said.

300 aircraft to be contracted ON TOP of those already on order (trainers, Sukhois etc.)? Would be very interesting the breakdown. Any idea or speculation ?

300 aircraft includes Helis and transport as well me thinks.. and even then a tad optimistic prospect..

If we are talking about the stuff we know, then 300 over two years is not unrealistic at all.

Just this year, around 35 Flankers will be delivered, 15 Yak-130s, 30+ attack helos...that is already 80 + airframes. Utility helos of various kinds as well as transport aircraft will fill out the rest of the number.

Is this a really good PS or the real deal?

And if it's the real deal, is it the U or just repainted regular A-50?
