      I like the Lightphoonado!

      Or is it the Tornyphooning?
Germany, Austria and Italy are standing together in the middle of the pub, when Serbia bumps into Austria, and spills Austria's pint.

I always felt the Tornado 2000 proposal was a bit of a Frankenplane, after all slabbing a stealthy nose and intakes onto the rest of the plane was a monstrous proposal given the job it was supposed to undertake....

You couldn't fashion a Vulcan 2000 along the same lines could you?
looks like it would've been a new plane

How about an Avon-powered Hawker Siddeley Etendard? Shown here next to the Dassault version.

          Second is the F-15N.

Third is F/A-18H Super Duper Hornet using the engines off the F-15E.

edit: minor touch ups, like UK roundel and tail tag.

The MiG-29 has always looked pretty rugged with its heavy fuselage design, but how about we take it and give it a more sleek look? First with the Tornado body. Second with the Typhoon body.

Below is why Boeing didn't allow the British to customize their own AWACS version, it would have become a Swiss Army Knife of sorts...

do you take requests? can you do:

                  1. Mirage 2000 with canards where the strakes are
                  2. Eurofighter Typhoon with canards removed further back like the Rafale
                  3. MiG-29 and Su-27 with intakes on the side instead of under the fuesalage

                        Like this?

And next to it is my Saab'd Flogger.

Third is the F-117 using more Blackbird-like shaping. I know it is impossible to see, but I went to the trouble of using dark upside-down Rafale intakes on the SR-117.

I liked doing the first Saab'd Flogger that I did a more frontal view that is fairly close to the first.

I swapped to a single tail because it wouldn't have been a Flogger-like design unless I either went some sort of twin-engine design or rear strakes to mount twins on.

                                Dear Santa

                                For Christmas I would like:

                                Sea vixen with
                                Speys
                                Sparrows
                                An/awg11
                                More manly vertical stabilisers
                                Adens not ffars

Sea Vixen has been difficult to manipulate. However, the F-5 is always fun to do.

                                      X-32 using TVC F414

MiG-23P using F-14 canopy and rails, and a droptank.

                                      SR-71 crossed with the Su-47 FSW's

                                        No drama

Have subsequently spoken to someone with more aerodynamic knowledge than me (I.e. some aerodynamic knowledge!) who said that the vixens issue wasn't lack of power and putting bigger motors in would just repeat scimitar (famously the most powerful aircraft never to break the sound barrier)

                                        However keeping with speys

How about that proposed mirage iv export
Two colour schemes and load outs one for strategic and one for interdiction?

A lot of the difficulty is finding matching angles. A good majority of older pictures are grainy and offer little chance to manipulate even to my low standards.

Here's F-CK-1 using twin tails. The Saegeh of Ching Kou so to speak.
