Only thing still needed is an observer type parachute harness. So if anyone have one in use as suspenders I would be glad to replace it with the correct item.

An observer type parachute harness has been obtained. "Henry" is now finally complete and occupying the cockpit. Although in a corkscrew.

Looks very good but having a dummy in place - particularly in an action pose - must stop you being able to 'play' , though if the modeller in me is allowed to come out, the interior could possibly do with some weathering

            Tony,
I did just that between pulling him out en putting him back again.
The cockpit is weathered due to normal wear and tear. You know as well as I do that
us modellers tend to exaggerate quite a bit and models are often over-weathered.
If you look into the cockpit there the bulkhead edges have worn here and there, throttle
box levers knobs have chipped paint, grime has collected in nooks and crannies, dust everywhere.
            As it should be.

The previous photos seem to have gone. Have you a recent one to remind us what delight we will be looking at in the UK! when it is place.

Cees, whilst it be good to see the results of all your hard work, it must be a wrench to see it go?

Is it a permanent move or just a loan?

                                      Good morning chaps,
If all goes to plan this morning will see a flat pack Halifax cockpit showing up on the doorstep at East Kirkby. It was picked up last Saturday. And although I am sorry to see it go it has found a fantastic new home. And I still have a Hampden cockpit to work on.
Thanks to all of you on this forum who have helped and supported me over the years (you know who you are).
So Halifax HQ The Netherlands is no more.
                                      Cheers
                                      Cees
