So, any leads om the instrument light?

Small update, today the rear bulkhead of the cockpit was
given a fresh coat of interor green, when you enter the
workshop it seems to jump right at you (as well as the
        smell). No pics today.
Next wednesday work on the wiring loom will continue.

Visit to the museum to day was great Cees ! Really interesting and impressive.
Seeing a real Stirling throttlebox was fantastic. Your Halifax project was also very nice to look at; what an excellent job is done there ! Thanks,

              Peter,

No way, this is a once in a lifetime project

It's the throttle box from BK710.

That`s looking amazing Cees, what sort of buttons are under the `FIRE` flaps? they look a sort of brown colour..or are they dark red?

Some think that the buttons are colour-coded for dramatic effect but as far as I know the red ones are push to break and the black ones are push to make contacts.

                      Thanks Geoff,

Just returned from working on the cockpit again. The top now has a grey primer coat in readiness for the camouflage. Wanted to paint the sides but I had not enough black primer so that will have to wait. Wiring is almost finished apart from the breeze plugs (Bruce, got my message sometime ago?)

                      Completion is getting near.

                          Thanks Bruce,

Apart from upholstery of the folding seat, the plugs are the only things left.

Only parts I still need are a cockpit lamp 5C/701, an oxygen economiser and a flap gauge (Elliott, got my message?).

This morning the sides of the cockpit received their first coat of black primer. pics to follow next wednesday.

Yes, I have the flap gauge in a safe place. Do youhave any plans to visit the UK in the near future?
