      Hi Bruce,

I got them this evening, thanks very much they are just what is needed.
I will pm you about these.

The wiring cables are just let through the open fittings where the pins(plates) have been removed. Can you spot the odd 20 feet of garden hose

        Very nice Cees,
just wondering in ww2, would the solid yellow covering be correct? Over here in Lancasters they used what appears to be a clear or semi clear tube that yellows with age..

Yes it is the correct colour for the covering Peter,I got a new WW2 (unissued) Stirling bomb-bay wiring loom for the project years ago and it was the same colour.... as was the Halifax one he had.

Yes...found plenty of the bright yellow plastic cable covering at the weekend at a Lancaster and Halifax crash site.

Oh....and if anyone wants a 4,000lb Cookie I know where one is, albeit that it is 9.2 metres down.

No problem, how about sunday september 4th? I will be
at the museum the whole day.
I was planning to phone James as he didn't respond to
                            my e-mails.

Thanks all for confirming a question I had about the colour. I have part of a Halifax wiring loom that was yellow but had been painted green. This was a mk II, so perhaps there are variations, but yellow just gives it a bit more colour in the cockpit.

                                  Lamp light

Here is a pic of the lamp light over the D/F indicator, are any of these (the lamp light) around, or made form hen's teeth?
As you can see the work is narrowing down deeper into details.
