You have to thank the designers at Handley Page for that.

                Some progress,

Spent this morning in all sorts of strange postions to give the interior a primer coat. The instrument panels has had some work on it now that the labels are available and many small holes had to be drilled for fitment. These labels, and there are a lot of them, really give life to the cockpit after everything has been painted.

                      It's update time

Today we spent quite some time in the workshop. The past week I had been busy spraypainting the various instrument panels, brackets and lot's of small boxes. Now it was time to assemble the instrument panels and adding the many labels, bits and pieces.

The whole interior is getting back together and looking absolutely fabulous. Pity the batteries of the camera went flat and no further pics could be taken (honest), next time I will show you the current state of progress and be prepared to be amazed. I was...

In the pics you see Lex fitting the small labels with me assisting.

                              Yes Mike,

It was a very careful job but nothing has been scratched

Today sprayed some more bits and panels for fitment next week.
Boost gauges have been sourced so well on track now.

Now that looks fantastic. Is the exterior to be painted, or will it be left a natural metal finish?

I'd love to do something like this.

At the moment visitors cannot see inside the cockpit yet (now that looks fantastic, await the pics chaps, next week when I get to work there again) and from that angle it looks like progress is slowf but it isn't. The stool is a great help during the painting stage (black) as a few weeks ago I had to work in very cramped condtions and as a result got a back ache that lasted a few weeks and wasn't very pleasant.

I have sourced four boost gauges now as well some other instruments which will be fitted in the newly painted sloping panel next week.

Depends on when you will be back then.

If you let me know when , I can show you the interior.
