Seriously, very nice rendering of the old workhorse Whitley
About time a book is published about the old girl (before you
comment on that, NO, not me I have other talents, but writing
isn't one of them);)

Well I'm not an artist but i am blown away by some of these pics guys - theres some serious talent on the forum - MarkH your style is very '50s (I hope thats not an insult - its not supposed to be!) and reminds me a lot of the illustrations that used to appear in my Dads Eagle annuals - if you see worra mean - there's no way I could tell that they were digital!
Ronnies stuff is simply stunning (darn, told myself I wouldnt keep complimenting him :) ) and I LOVE the 'what if'/Luft 46 stuff he does - still think he should do a TSR2 though, with all those lovely Extradecal what if schemes the worlds his oyster and I reckon he'd shift a load too.... :)

Thanks guys.
Tex, that's definitely a compliment. I love that 'golden age' illustration stuff. Love telling a story, if I can.
Welcome Skyraider, it's a small world. Speaking of the TSR2, how about an Avro Arrow?:D

Just a little something I have been working on for the last couple of weeks. Normally I do picture drawings on A3 but as I have not sat behind my drawing board for a couple of years now, digital photography got in the way, I have done this on A4 just to get my hand back in again.
Following the distraction of Christmas/New Year I finally got it finished and have put it in a temporary frame. Being more of an illustrator than an artist, I don't do backgrounds.

Nice work Brian. Are you a technical Illustrator?
Thank you and no. I went to work for a firm of Architects when I left school and have just applied what I was taught there to drawing Aeroplanes. I started with scale drawings and then progressed to picture drawings.

Being still new to this site, I have to say that I'm totally blown away but the artwork on display in this section.
Much plaudits to the artists, regardless of your choosen media and method, you are all very much masters of your craft.

First chance I've had to look for a while-just got out of hospital,I am still looking at an art get-together at Donny so keep 'em coming.
Loved the recent digital Lanc ones-reminded me of a certain A-Ha video(take on me-1985)-the girl on which I had a crush on.:D

Doesn't compare with some of the other work here, but here's a piece of my handiwork (with help from a few others!). A favourite scheme of mine!
