That's stunning Paul! Great job on everything: plane, clouds, subject, composition, lighting... top job!

Here's something a little different: an animation, albeit very brief. It's a fragment of a trailer for a documentary currently in preparation.

As long as they make through the selection process then you certainly will, hoping to get another one done but spring has sprung and stuff needs doing in the garden etc

                  HI All,
                  Paul C,
I wish you well matey it must be increasingly difficult for all you aviation artists to produce an image that is strikingly different from any that has been produced before, I do not envy any of you as it must test the patience of a saint at times. A lovely image none the less good luck you'll need it with stiff competition from Matt Holness this year no doubt, in fact good luck to all you aviation artists who are entering the Guild Exhibition you all deserve an award in my book........

                  Geoff.

PaulC,great pic,but if one is pulling`g` in those atmospherics,I would expect to see thin vapour trails from the rear tips of the tanks;otoh,it could be a `Bloggs `attempting a stall-turn,or the `recovery...!

I think also the Lancaster appears to have the wrong props....?

Although I've illustrated a good number of books and book covers, my work hasn't appeared on many model kits yet. That's currently changing! Here is the new box art for Tanmodel's 1/48th scale RF-84F Thunderflash kit. Although I usually make my own 3D models, on this occasion it was supplied by the client to keep production times down.
