    Westland Widgeon 3 G-AUHU

    What is the current status of this unique aircraft.
    It was still airworthy in 1978 and although not airworthy was photographed in the hanger at Wangaratta in 2003 painted up as G-AUKA.
    I cannot find any more recent information or photos.

    Its restoration is proceeding well at Latrobe. Updates can be found on the restoration companys Facebook site which on 3 May 2017 included a picture of this Widgeon uncovered but temporarily assembled and on its undercarriage. They said work had slowed on it back then as they were also working on another of the owners aeroplanes.. For those not on FB, here is a link to a much older report on the web:

        G-EUKS wings are painted... have been flat out on the G-ABNX and two or three other projects....!
