Looks like the Spitfire AA810 project are spearheading the cause for a National memorial to the PRU. For a project that only launched at the end of last year to have representations in the House of Commons in just a matter of months is pretty something!

A very worthwhile cause, absolutely magnificent and well overdue.

Seconded. Alone or Pilot/Navigator unarmed over enemy territory for hours at a time in all weathers. Their contribution was critical to the war effort. Unsung heroes.

...and now you can help the project. The formal application will be made next Tuesday but they need support from your MP in this process. The project asks for anybody who is willing to support a memorial to the PRU to email their MP asking to support Luke Graham’s application to the backbench committee next week!

Well I'd do that except my local MP is...Luke Graham. I must say it is very nice to see a Perthshire MP making headlines for such a worthy cause :)
