    Spitfire at Hendon

The Spitfire XVIe at Hendon - certainly the only Spitfire in the world that is on show at a base that she flew from? Off the top of my head, the only WW2 a/c I can think of, and you can get in her.

What about the Spitfire at Manston?
If you're not living on the edge then you're taking up too much space!

I was not sure if she flew from Manston, if so she is the only one with a combat record, still on her wartime base.

Correct regarding N3200 albeit only for a month! What a shame the Hendon one is not in her post war red and white scheme, considering the RAFM policy of "original markings at all times". The Tempest V looks great, the B25 would be better off as an RAF example,

          Neither Mustang wears RAF markings.

What is happening to N3200 in a month?

              Sopwith,
I think SADSACK meant that N3200 was only stationed at Duxford for a month after being delivered and then being lost over France

I just checked and unfortunately she didn't fly from Manston.

Ok, thanks for clarifying R4118 and SADSACK, thought it was going elsewhere but I can see now that I read it wrong. Cheers guys
