PR Spitfire - a IV perhaps?

    Is she a PR1 or a IV?

This one started life as a Mk1 but was selected from a number of serial numbers to become what was being developed as a 1D. It is hazy as to at which date in 1941 these PR Spitfires changed from being referred to as 1Ds to IVs so in this case both designations are quite applicable, being exactly the same aircraft.

          Hi All,
SADSACK - I don't mean to offend but should this thread be added to http://forum.keypublishing.com/forum...-airworthiness ?

          Geoff.
