Located at Kiev in the UK. Someone's been remarkably good at keeping the news of that change from the public!

Makes me think when I visited North Weald during 1997. In one of the hangars there were two very complete and in excellent condition BMW 801's.

Probably from Focke-Wulf Fw 190's, 28,000 motors were built.

Can't help thinking FHCAM in Seattle might be interested!

If anybody ever tells you anything about an aeroplane which is so bloody complicated you can't understand it, take it from me: It's all balls. RJM.

Incredibly rare engines in any sort of usable condition. Believe me, I looked. The second picture of the 801 is of the IWM's engine, which makes me wonder...

The engines that were at North Weald were transport engines, not fighter ones. Quite different, but usable as spares, which they were.
