JU-188 shot down on 31.7.1944 off Penmarche Point (Finistere, Brittany)

I have a photo of something burning on the sea which according to the notation on the edge of the official RAF photo, is a JU188. The photo reference reads 282 PTR 31 July 44/ J 248/F14 destruction of JU188 off Penmarche Point Ht150'. On the reverse, someone has written 'victor & vanquished' . I assume that the reference relates to a Mosquito of 248 Sqdn operating out of Portreath. Does anyone have any info on which JU188 it was and/or who & which a/c shot it down?

    many thanks, Dave
