I'll comment, as a limey. (it's cheap, but it's all I'm paying for!).

They're keeping quiet until it's on TV - or so I was told by the chap on their stall at Brize. The usual TV money thing I guess. Should be fairly soon. There's lots of it, even if some of the bits are quite small. Certainly more than there was of the most recent Hurricane resto to fly, V7497, to start with.

Thanks for the update Adrian - now, perhaps worth putting this thread on ice for a bit?

Thank goodness this Spitfire didn't end up in the drink.

Its no problem, much as many in here dont like Faceache, it does provide very quick easy answers and hopefully are often updated so a pretty good source of information.

Certainly a superb project and good news that these guys have taken the time to evidentially do it properly. The youth scheme certainly should be of interest to those young enough to benefit from it.

im sure mk12 will be along soon to fill in some more background on it!

Said there was lots, didn't I? Apparently there was an extra couple of one-ton bags as well, but they weren't very photogenc, so were left out to keep it looking good.
